Terms of Service

By using Meet Me In The Middle, you agree to these terms. The Service is a temporary coordination tool for calculating a central point and finding nearby venues.
Room links and consent
A room code is the only access secret. Anyone with the link can view names and exact coordinates shared in the room. You are responsible for sharing the link carefully and must not submit another person's location without their permission.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or stalking activity.
- Do not overload, scrape, automate, probe, or bypass rate limits or security controls.
- Do not use venue data outside the displayed room workflow or in violation of provider terms.
Temporary data and availability
Rooms normally expire about 24 hours after creation. Data may be unavailable or deleted earlier because of maintenance, failures, abuse controls, or provider limits. The Service does not promise permanent storage or uninterrupted availability.
Venue results and map data
The midpoint is a mathematical convenience, not a guarantee of fairness, safety, accessibility, travel time, or route quality. Google Places venue details may be incomplete, unavailable, or out of date. Verify opening hours, accessibility, suitability, and travel conditions before relying on a result. Google-powered features are also subject to the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service and the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms. Google's processing is described in Google's Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties. To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, the operator is not liable for losses arising from use of the Service, shared location data, venue choices, travel, outages, or third-party services.

These terms and the Service may change. The date above identifies the current published version.
